It’s been said that the pen is mightier than the sword. This aptly describes the skills of Eric Schurenberg, who’s built his matchless career through his continued journalistic excellence and thoughtful insights into the world of business and finance.

Schurenberg graduated from Brown University with a degree in English. Starting as a journalist, Schurenberg was the founding editor of CBS and — both of which went on to receive more than a dozen awards for journalism and design. He later went on to be Editor in Chief of Money Magazine as well as Inc. Magazine.

As a writer, his accolades include being the recipient of a Loeb and National Magazine Award, both impressive feats in the field. He’s been a regular commentator on shows like the Nightly Business Report, The Today Show, and Marketplace Radio, offering his take on the money issues of the day.

Recently, he’s started up his own media holding company, Mansueto Ventures, which is now home to Inc. Magazine and Fast Company.
